INDIVIDUAL RESIDENT CONSULTATIONS
- resident nutritional status screening and assessments
- aims to identify residents who are at risk or, or are, under-/mal-nourished or who have an eating problem or require mealtime assistance
- allows for monitoring of changes to nutritional status
RESIDENT CONSULTANCY SERVICES
- assessment of the individual nutritional requirements of residents
- individualised dietary recommendations for a range of nutrition-related problems
- nutrition care plans implemented in consultation with resident, family and staff (including for tube feeding)
- dietary transfer details can be provided to the hospital Dietitian if the resident requires hospitalisation
- individual resident consultations are available as: on-site consultations (local facilities) OR off-site consultations conducted using a combination of phone, email (Australia-wide)

INPUT INTO NUTRITION POLICY DEVELOPMENT
Contributing to the development and review of nutrition-related policies and procedures to both assist with the accreditation process by ensuring that nutrition-related quality improvement is carried out and to provide nutrition-related advice to multidisciplinary teams (eg. diet therapy advice to wound care or continence committees, advice on drug-nutrient interactions for medication review teams)
